The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift has been spotted at a dockyard without any camouflage, as revealed by a spy shot which has been making round of the internet since a few days.
It is seen that the facelift has come with sleeker front design and a subtle thinner grille, with a thin strip of chrome above it. The car is supposed to run on a 1.5 litre engine which has been earlier seen on the Indonesian spec Suzuki Ertiga. The K15B motor churns out 104 Ps power and 138 Nm torque, which is 13 Ps and 8 Nm more than the running model. The diesel variant won’t be altered, it will still run on the pre installed 1.3 litre engine. The Ciaz sits on redesigned alloy wheels, which can be made out from the silhouette of the vehicle. There is a revised bumper and contour on the model too.The fog lamp housing have chrome surrounds too. The lights and the boot design is same as that of the current model of the Ciaz facelift. The infotainment system is larger and is somewhat similar to the Honda City launched the running year. The car is expected to get a cruise control. Changes in the interior is somewhat nil. The dual-tone black-beige theme with faux wood inserts will remind anyone of the 2017 model. There is a lighter shade of brown on the wooden trim of the Ciaz.
The Ciaz is a C segment car and is just behind the Honda City in market popularity. The price of the car is supposed to increase a bit more than the present Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift. The car is expected to hit the Indian markets very soon and go on sale in the sooner half of the 2018.
