Lamborghini Urus: Chinese four-wheeler manufacturer is building great cars, but many of their concepts are completely copied from other auto-giants. They efficiently replicate the concept of other famous cars visually. No one can identify whether it’s original or duplicated. Now, reports claim that the Chinese brand has again duplicated the concept of the luxury car maker, Lamborghini. It seems that the Chinese car makers are having difficulty in executing or planning their own concepts so, mimicking from other famous, automotive makers.
According to previous reports, this is not the first that the Chinese firm has done this. Earlier, they have imitated the Range Rover’s Evoque and Tesla’s range S. Another Chinese firm has even tried to completely mimic the well-known BMW signature emblem. The Lamborghini model which is recently mimicked by the Chinese firm was Urus.
The copied version of Urus is presented by Huansu, which is a firm title listed under larger Chinese four-wheeler manufacturer, BAIC Motor. The controversial variant is named C60, although, it has another name outfitted at the rear which reads ‘Hyosow’.
As said earlier, the Chinese firm has completely copied the Urus visually, but there are still some minor changes. The Chinese variant has received an identical grille, however, the LED fog-light design is different which looks good. The variant’s side trim appears similar, although they have decorated it in their own style so that it doesn’t look complete mimic of Lamborghini. Now about the rear conception.
The tail-light and rear appearance are somewhat same, but here the Chinese firm failed to copy the overall rear segment as the Urus has more vivid and sharper taillights and moldings. The variant is same in terms of Lamborghini’s exterior shape, but the headlamp and headlights are sleeker instead of edged form.
As far as the technical specifications are concerned, the controversial model will be equipped by an average 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol motor which is capable of generating 194hp of max power, whereas, the Lamborghini Urus is powered by a powerful 4.0-litre, a twin-turbo V8 motor which is extremely fantastic compared to the Chinese unit. The Urus is capable of producing a peak power of up to 650hp.
From price front, the Huansu C60 Hyosow has received a price tag of $20,000 (which is about Rs 13.4 lakh in Indian Rupees), while the Lamborghini Urus is expensively priced at Rs 3.10 crore (ex-showroom) so, the Chinese model is highly affordable. Hence, if you want to buy a Lamborghini Urus, but don’t have a budget for it, then you have to visit China.
