CF Moto 650 MT Adventure Tourer Spotted In India

Our choices for Adventure tourers is constantly expanding as Bike manufacturers understand the potential of the category in India. CF Moto is a new name making their way to Adventure tourer category with their 650 MT.

Cf Moto is a China-based manufacturer looking to launch two of its products in India. First is the CF Moto 250 NK which a naked street fighter, while the other bike is the bigger 650 MT adventure tourer.

CF Moto 650 MT was spotted testing in India, the pictures reveal the bike in heavy camouflage. The 650 MT itself is based on its naked sibling 650NK. Both the bikes are on sale in Australia. CF Moto was earlier partnering with Eider Motors in 2016 to assemble the bikes locally but there were some issue Eider Motors dealers, so they had to cancel the partnership. This time they’re probably partnering with the Mahavir Group, which also handles Benelli India operations.

Coming to the pictures the 650 MT has a tall windscreen, hand guards, LED DRLs, LED indicators, leg guard along with front fairing guards and dual discs at the front. the seat height is at 840mm which can be further reduced to 820mm with a low seat option. Suspension duties are carried by an inverted fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike weighs around 213kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 18 litres.

The heart of the 650 MT is a 2-cylinder inline,4-stroke, Liquid cooled 649.3cc engine. It makes around 69.7hp at 8,750rpm and 62Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. CF Moto claims a top speed of 170kmph. The bike gets 170mm of ground clearance.

The price of CF Moto 650 MT in Australia is $7,990, so when launched in India it can be priced anywhere around 4-6 lakh range. If priced competitively, it can be cheaper than the competitors, Benelli TRK 502 and Versys 650.
