Suzuki Motorcycle India has finally launched its first BS6 compliant model in the country which is Access 125. The 125cc scooter has a huge fan following since its launch thanks to the stylish layout and underpinnings. The new update is focused on increasing the sales of the company’s 125cc segment. The scooter is announced in two variants: Standard and Special.
The standard version of BS6 complaint Access 125 is offered in three options: Alloy Drum Brake, Alloy Disc Brake and Steel Drum Brake. The scooter gets five exciting paint jobs which include Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Metallic Matte Platinum Silver, Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey.
On the other hand, the Special Edition (SE) is offered with Alloy Disc Brake and Alloy Drum Brake along with four shade: Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red, Metallic Dark Greenish Blue, Metallic Matte Black and Pearl Mirage White. The scooter was unwrapped in December 2019 and the prices are revealed now. The price starts from Rs 64,800 (drum brakes/ steel wheels version) and goes high up to Rs 69,500 (top-spec disc brake with alloy wheels trims).

Access Disc CBS – Rs 67,800

The all-new Access 125 is equipped with a LED headlamp at the front which gives it a retro-styled look. The standard variant also features external fuel filler, digital meter, and extended floorboard. The Special Edition version has some distinct elements that make it different from standard trim. It gets rearview mirrors with chrome elements, comfortable bronzed brownish seat, brown inner surface, new alloy wheels, and USB charging socket.
Both the variants are the same in terms of mechanical specifications. The company’s best-selling, Suzuki Access 125 gets power from a renewed BS6-compliant, 124cc, a fuel-injected motor which is capable of making 8.7 PS of power and 10 Nm of peak torque. The company has developed the powertrain with Suzuki Eco performance technology and combined with a CVT. The new-gen Access 125 rivals against the likes of Hero Maestro Edge 125 Fi, BS6 Honda Activa 125, and Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi in the Indian market.
