If you are in the market for an extremely fast car with 4 doors, look no further than the Brabus 800. This tuned Mercedes AMG GT can do 0-100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. This car is crazily fast while maintaining some level of practicality.
It is also called the Brabus 800 because it produces 800hp. That is 161 hp more than the standard AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC+ it is based on. The peak torque is also up from 900Nm to a flat 1000Nm. The car runs on a 4.0 liter V8 with twin turbos.
Brabus 800 performance upgrades:
This is thanks to the sophisticated BRABUS PowerXtra B40S-800 performance upgrade. Brabus also puts in a new turbocharging system. It features BRABUS high-performance turbochargers with a larger compressor unit and modified core assembly with reinforced axial bearing producing a maximum boost pressure of 1.6 BAR.
All this power pushes the car up to an electronically limited top speed of 315 kmph. The Brabus 800 also accelerates from 0-100 kmph 0.3 seconds faster than the stock car. For perspective, the Mercedes AMG GT 63 S was already the fastest 4 door coupe around the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
Other changes to the car include a 25mm decrease in the ride height. It also features bare carbon bodywork, which is expected to make the car more stable with 800hp. The car comes in two modes – “coming home” and “sport”. The coming home mode drastically reduces the engine sound to prevent angry neighbors. The car also sports 90 mil titanium/carbon tailpipes. It also gets Brabus Monoblock Z Platinum Edition 21″ front and 22″ rear wheels with 275/35 and 335/25 tires respectively.
The Brabus Brand Package also includes BRABUS logos all over the car. The interiors also feature high-quality leather and Alcantara for a premium feel. Stainless-steel scuff plates with backlit BRABUS logo that lights up in colors matching the ambient interior lighting round off the high-class interior design. Sporty cockpit features such as BRABUS aluminum door pins and pedals complete the high-performance standard of the BRABUS supercar.
