2019 BMW X7 Unveiled - Finally Gets Three Rows!

BMW’s flagship SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle), the X7, has been spied testing in Disguise in India. The German carmaker will launch the X7 in the M50d guise on January 31, 2019, at the India Art Fair in New Delhi. The X7 will sit above the X5 in the line-up and will rival the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLS and Land Rover Discovery.

The X7, in the M50d variant, is powered by a 3L inline six-cylinder diesel engine. It has four turbochargers – two for the high-pressure stage and the other two used for tractability during low-pressure engine loads. The output stands at 400hp at 4400 rpm and a massive 760Nm of torque. Gearbox is an 8-speed auto with all-wheel drive as standard. The X7 measures 5151m in length, 2000mm wide and 1805mm tall. With a humongous 3105mm of wheelbase, interior space is aplenty in this first ever 7 seater Bimmer. The 2nd row can either be had as a bench seat or optional captain seats, that offers the same adjustability as the front seats. The large wheelbase translates into a fully utilizable 3rd-row space. All the 3 rows of seats have the reclining function.
