BMW Motorrad has launched the most awaited motorcycles of the year today – the BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS in India. Both these new motorcycles are now available for test drive and are on sale as well. The new BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS was designed in Germany by BMW Motorrad. These bikes will be available in Hosur, India with the cooperation of TVS Motors.

The all new BMW G 310 R is equipped with striking headlamp, muscular fuel tank, attractive trim elements and characteristic roadster performance at the front and rear. Besides that it gets a short wheelbase, standard upside – down forks, quality materials and supplementary fittings. On the otherhand the all new BMW G 310 GS is equipped with high front fender, striking flyline, protective windscreen and short but high rear. It features classic elements from larger GS sibling models. It gets a high quality luggage bridge as standard. These all makes it a perfect companion for everyday riding adventures.
Both the BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS will extract power from a newly developed 313 cc, water- cooled, single cylinder, four stroke, foue valve engine with two over head camshafts along with electronic fuel injection. The engine churns out a power of 25 Kw at 9500 rpm and a peak torque of 28 Nm at 7500 rpm. The engine has got a back tilted cylinder in open deck design with the cylinder head turned bt 180 degrees. A newly engineered six speed gearbox gets paired to it. The front wheel gets a solid upside-down fork while the rear wheel gets an aluminium swinging arm along with a spring strut mounted directly. The motorcycle can accelerate fro 0-50 km/hr in just 2.5 seconds and can attain a top speed of 143 km/hr. Both the bikes gets a high performance braking system with 2 channel ABS, which provide efficient deceleration and short braking distances.
The new BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310GS will be sold and served through the premium dealer network of BMW Motorrad across India. It is present at Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Kochi. BMW Motorrad’s upcoming delearships in Kolkata and Chandigarh will also accept the bookings of the motorcycles. The ex showroom price of the new BMW G 310 R is INR 2,99,000 and the new BMW G 310 GS is priced at INR 3,49,000 [ex showroom]. BMW Motorrad ensures a warranty of three years per unlimited kilometres on its new G 310 series.
