Finally, BMW G 310 R Naked and G 310 GS Tourer Official Booking Starts Opens In India At INR 50,000. Delivery to commence on first come first serve basis.
The German automobile giant has been all hype since past few year about its arrival in India in collaboration with TVS, first with the TVS Akula and then with G 310 series of bikes. The question to Akula was answered with launch of TVS Apache 310 RR in December previous year. However the mystery continued for the launch of BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS until now.
BMW Motorrad has finally ended all the mysteries with officially accepting booking for bikes at your nearest BMW showrooms with amount of Rs. 50,000 from 8th June onwards.
The BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS were showcased at the Auto Expo 2018 and had hyped response since then. The BMW G 310 R refers to the naked version with premium roadster with an all-rounder personality while the G 310 GS refers the tourer version of the G 310 which is focused on Adventure and agility on any terrain (off-roader). The Twin G 310 comes with 313 CC, 4 valves, liquid cooled, single cylinder BSIV engines with DOHC setup, producing 34 BHP of peak power at 9500 RPM and 28NM of peak torque at 7500 RPM mated to a 6 speed gear box.
On the ergonomics front, it has upside down forks at front and adjustable mono suspension at rear. The weight of the bikes being 158.5 kg for G 310 R and 169.5 kg for G 310 GS. Braking department consists of 300mm and 240mm breaks at front and rear respectively. Unique features of these bikes are the inclusion of Metzeller tyres and Dual channel ABS.

The actual prices will be revealed in the launch event of the duo. While the prices are estimated to be 3lakhs and 3.5 lakhs respectively. Colors to choose will be black, white, metallic blue and white base. The BMW G 310 duo will rival the likes of Bajaj Dominar 400, KTM Duke 390, Honda CBR 250 and RE Himalayan.
