Have you ever seen eleven BMW cars at a time, although, not in a showroom, but parked in a warehouse? Well, recently, 11 BMW E34 5-Series models were spotted hidden in an old warehouse in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. These luxurious cars were found in absolutely new condition. Now, you might have a question that why are those expensive cars parked in a warehouse.
The unregistered cars are assumed to be acquired by a car rental company in early 1994. After acquiring the cars, the investor never thought of actually driving or reselling them. The BMW cars were purchased from Spanish merchant who was suffering from financial difficulty. According to reports, there were many cars and these are the remaining units in the warehouse. The cars were not parked in the good condition and the result can be seen in the pictures.
The picture was posted on social media which soon went viral. The cars have got a few exterior defects, but we cannot ignore the fact that they are still new. The interior of the car can be noticed with plastic covering on the seats. The cars also have some legal issues as the person don’t have legal documents so, its difficult for the owner to sell them. The cars are also expected to be used as donor units as there were some missing components as well.
The collection of 11 BMW’s comprises 10 sedans and one wagon. Many of them are 5 Series models which are considered 150 horsepower 520i variants, along with 192 horsepower 525i variants. The standard models were spotted with steel wheels, cloth seats and manual transmissions which is impressive. Each car ware found in a different state, but are sitting in the same place. Some look absolutely new while others have faded cosmetics and exterior defects.
The hidden BMW’s cannot be driven on the roads of Bulgaria due to legal factors which don’t allow older Euro emission standards to be listed as new cars. Although, the owner can export the vehicle to other nations where the company can be provided with appropriate old vehicle number plates. The social media post also claims that these cars will be soon auctioned. Although, the details are still not confirmed.
