2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Facelift Unveiled At Rs 8.76 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has officially unveiled the all-new Baleno RS in its Nexa website. The modified Baleno RS facelift has received some exciting cosmetic changes. The company has offered many latest features and package in the new model which makes it impressive. The standard variant of Baleno facelift is already available in the market at a price tag of Rs 5.45 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi). 2019 Baleno RS facelift will be introduced with a price of Rs 8.76 lakh which is Rs 29,000 more than the existing model.

The bookings of the RS facelift is already started at an amount of Rs 15,000. The company has posted the front and interior look of the updated Baleno RS. The dashing car is outfitted with an all-new honeycomb grille, front bumper, broader air dam, and faux air vents around the foglamps. It has got many other cosmetic tweaks which makes it different from the older version. The company has also replaced the bi-xenon projector with all-new LED projector headlamps.

Now, the Baleno looks more classy with the new twin-shaded 16-inch alloy wheels. The facelifted variant is much like the top-specs Baleno Alpha variant which is a feature-packed variant. Moving inside the interior, we notice a spacious and lavish cabin which is loaded with new innovations. It is equipped with an all-new 7-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system which is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also features auto dimming IRVM, automatic climate control, electrically foldable ORVMs and a reverse parking camera.

The bold looking Baleno RS facelift will come with high-end safety features to satisfy the new vehicle norms. With exterior and interior updates, the powertrain remains the same. It will run on the similar 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that will generate 102PS of peak power and 150Nm of peak torque. The engine is combined with a 5-speed manual transmission. The company can add rear disc brakes as a new mechanical spec. It will rival against the likes of Polo GT TSi, Fiat Abarth Punto and the Tata Tiago JTP in the small car segment.
