The reason is mainly suspected to be the rapidly decreasing sales number of the two wheeler. 1737 units were sold in January, 687 in February, 484 in March, 321 in April of the running year which has come to zero in May. The dealerships have stopped taking bookings for the V12 and also a number of them has stopped receiving any stock. The bike is a trim below the Discover 125 and V15, both of which brings home enough sale every month unlike the V12. The Discover 125 had 6000 units sold during the same time period.

The fuel tank has a capacity of 13 liters with reserve fuel capacity 1.7 liters. The fuel efficiency range is 845 kms. The bike was available at Rs.58906 (ex showroom Mumbai). As the Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS had been discontinued and later went on sale again with moderation in design and installation of new features.
