Bajaj Pulsar 150: Recently, the popular two-wheeler manufacturer, Bajaj has released the modified version of Pulsar 150 Twin Disc model. The bike is already delivered to showroom merchants for sale since last month. However, the automotive firm has not declared any information regarding the bike on sale. Although, finally the bike is launched with all the amazing features and specs of the upgraded Pulsar 150.
The latest 150 variants are equipped with a disc brake including a 260mm front disc (which was 240mm disc in the previous model) and a 230mm rear disc. Unfortunately, the bike will not come with ABS control. Hopefully, the company introduced the bike in the month of March, so they bypassed the Indian norms that came under impact from April 1, this year. As per the latest vehicle norm, all the vehicles with more than 125cc should be launched with ABS system as compulsory.
The Bike will be powered by 149cc, single-cylinder, two-valve, dual -spark engine that will be capable of delivering 14hp of peak power at 8,000rpm and 13.4Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The company has also developed notable growth in NVH features of the Pulsar 150. Along with the dual disc composition, the updated 150 model also receives a dense, 37mm front fork and a split seat including a split grab rail inspired by the existing Pulsar 180. It comes with the latest footpeg arrangement that is polished in aluminum which was chrome glazed in the earlier version. The pedals are now more superior than the previous version. It is outfitted with 17-inch alloys Wheels along with matte-black coating. The rear tire is 120/80-17.
The company has made the latest Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc in total three shades which are Black/ Blue, Black/ Red, as well as Black/ Chrome. It has got a price tag of INR 78,016. It will compete against Honda CB Unicorn 160 and the Apache RTR 160, in terms of price. The market price is higher than the Honda CB Unicorn 160 which comes at INR 76,116 (CBS variant) and INR 73,682 without CBS variant. The price of TVS Apache RTR 160 starts from INR 78,715 to INR82,044 (without 4V). Honda CB Unicorn 160 is not available with rear disc brake, and Honda X Blade has a somewhat higher price at INR 78,500. All the prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi.
