This is for the forth time that Bajaj Dominar 400 gets a price hike. Bajaj Auto, the Indian two wheeler manufacturing company has increased the price of the Dominar 400 for the third time this year. The price of Bajaj Dominar 400 was previously increased in March, 2018. Again by few months the price has rised. But the reason behind this price hike is yet not known.

The prices now start at Rs 1.48 lakhs for the standard Dominar 400 [ without ABS ]. The ABS model is priced at Rs 1.62 lakhs. The price for both the variants has increased upto Rs 2000. The price hike was applied from July, 2018. The Bajaj Dominar 400 was launched in the month of December of 2016. The introductory price of this two – wheeler was Rs 1.36 lakhs. Since then it has received a price hike of Rs 12000.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 is provided with telescopic forks at the front and the rear section has arrangement of the monoshock suspensor. The two – wheeler is upgraded with new colour schemes. The braking system comes with ByBre disc brakes at either end. Besides it comes with a ABS, which is optional for the customers.

The engine remains the same. The Bajaj Dominar 400 continues to extract power from a liquid cooled, single cylinder, triple spark four valve DTS-i, 373 cc engine. The engine can produce a power of 35 bhp at 8000 rpm. Besides that it can develop a torque of 35 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine is matted to a six speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch as well. The dimensions are 2156 x 813 x 1112. The Dominar 400 has a wheelbase of 1453 mm and a ground clearance of 157 mm. It has a kerb weight of 182 kg. Besides that the fuel tank capacity is 13 litres.

Bajaj Auto, the Indian two – wheeler manufacturing company has reported that most of the Bajaj Dominar 400 buyers are preferring the ABS model over the standard one. But the standard variant continues to be on sale now. Bajaj Auto is providing a five years warranty on the two – wheelers sold in July. The other cruiser bikes – the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 X and the Mahindra Mojo UT 300 are the strong rivals of the Bajaj Dominar 400.
