Bajaj Auto has finally unwrapped the most-awaited Avenger Street 160 ABS for the Indian market. The new bike has replaced the former Avenger Street 150. It has received an affordable price tag of just Rs 82,253 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has also started the deliveries of the cruiser from Bajaj dealerships. The bike is developed to attract the 150-160 cc bike fans. The new bike rival against the likes of Suzuki Intruder 155 cruiser.

The company has replaced the Street 150 as it was not equipped with the latest safety features. The all-new Avenger Street 160 ABS is offered in two attractive shades: Spicy Red and Ebony Black. The all-new cruiser motorcycle gets a latest single-channel ABS as standard. It is integrated with roadster design headlamp highlighting LED DRLs. It sits on black alloy wheels and rubberised grab at the rear.

The stylish and modern bike is designed for all city riders. It is the smallest capacity bike offered in the range by Bajaj in the country. Some designing elements are polished in matte black and the fuel tank is coloured in gloss red with gloss black highlight. From the side, the bike is coloured in dual tome black-red. The bike comes with ground clearance and a seat height of 177mm and 730mm, respectively.

Bajaj Avenger Street 160 is powered by a 160.4 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 14.7 bhp of max power and 13.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine is combined with a 5-speed gearbox transmission. In terms of suspension, the bike features telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks at the rear. The braking duties are handled by a 220 mm single disc at the front with single-channel ABS, and a drum brake arrangement at the rear.
