The German luxury car maker, Audi has revealed an updated version for the A4. The all-new modified A4 facelift will be sold in the European market from May 2019. The company has not yet confirmed whether they will bring the facelifted model in India. The new generation car is designed with many new features. Just like other Audi range, the all-new A4 has received an amazingly attractive and striking design.
The facelifted Audi A4 is outfitted with an all-new hexagonal grille which provides a bold appearance to the car. The grille is complemented with new headlamps highlighting LED DRL design. The company also offers the new Audi with a Matrix LED technology for the headlamps. Moving to the rear, the extravagance car is designed with the first-class rear bumper and LED taillights which enhances the overall look.
The cabin is equally luxurious like the exterior. The interior is integrated with Audi’s MMI infotainment system highlighting an all-new 10.1-inch touchscreen which supports touch or voice control system. Audi has discarded the rotary controller that is provided in the existing Audi variants. It also features full 12.3-inch digital driver-information display and a head-up presentation are offered on option.
The A4 models are available in basic, advanced, and S line exterior variants. It also comes in a new attractive sade namely Terra Grey. The company has announced the A4 in Europe with its Connect and Connect Plus kit. The A4 is offered in a total of six engine options for the European market. Among the six options, three will be a mild hybrid (12V) technology variant.
The Indian model of Audi is available in two engine options. The 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine churns out 150PS power and 250Nm torque while the 2.0-litre diesel motor makes 190PSpower and 400Nm torque. The new model is available with 3.0-litre TFSI turbocharged engine making 349 BHP and 500 Nm of torque while the 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine delivers 342 BHP and 699 Nm of torque.
The new-generation model is expected to be priced between Rs 41.49-46.96 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It will rival against the likes of all-new Mercedes C-class facelift and the soon to come, BMW 3 Series (G20). The automotive maker will soon commence the bookings of the new 2020 A4 at the end of May in Europe, The prices and details for U.S. launch have not been revealed yet.
