Aprilia Storm 125 is unwrapped for the Indian customers. The scooter was first debuted at 2018 Auto Expo and now its finally here for sale. The report has been confirmed by a Piaggio dealership. It is one of the most affordable Aprilia scooters in India which is available at a price tag of Rs 65,000 (ex-showroom pan-India). The new scooter has got some cosmetic tweaks when compared to the earlier debut model.

The new Aprilia Storm 125 sits on 12-inch wheels by Vee Rubber similar to the Vespa models while the Auto Expo models were equipped with 120/80 front and 130/80 rear tyres. The new scooter comes with only front and rear drum brake arrangement. The company has not yet confirmed if the new scooter will get a front disc brake in any of its variants. It is equipped with a grab handle. It looks bold with the matte base designing and larger windscreen.

The Storm 125 is decorated with a white Aprilia badge. It is outfitted with a headlight located on the apron and the front blinkers on the handlebar highlighting black coating. Comparing with the Auto Expo model, the grab handle and white company’s badge is new. The production version was showcased in red Aprilia badge. In terms of safety features, the company has offered CBS (combined-braking system) as standard.

The all-new Aprilia Storm 125 is powered by a 124.49cc air-cooled engine which is capable of generating 9.51 bhp of max power at 7,250 rpm and 9.8 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. The suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork at the front and a mono suspension at the rear. The colour variants are not known yet, but it will be available in a bright yellow/ black shade. It rival against the likes of TVS NTorq 125 (priced Rs 58, 252) and Honda Grazia (priced Rs 60,723).
