TVS Motors Launched the Apache RTR 180 Race Edition

Apache RTR 180 Race Edition : TVS Motor Company has been launching new products very frequently. The Apache RR 310 has already took TVS to a next level and since then TVS has launched tremendous products like TVS Ntorq and subsequently the TVS Apache RTR 160 V4. The company has also been updating its current offerings with few tweaks and geeks. Earlier, TVS has launched the Apache RTR 200 4V Race Edition 2.0 with ART slipper clutch and then kept the flow on with Apache RTR 160 Race Edition with just graphic changes and now the company has also launched the Apache RTR 180 Race Edition.

The Apache RTR 180 Race Edition is quite similar to what we have seen earlier with the Apache 160 Race edition but with new graphics. The Race edition is offered in only Pearl White shade with Red and Carbon fiber graphics. There is no mechanical change and the powering is done with the same 177.4 CC, 4 Stroke, Air cooled engine which churns out maximum power of 16.62 PS @ 8500 RPM with a peak torque of 15.5Nm @ 6500 RPM. Additionally, no ABS has been offered for the Race edition. While the Apache RTR 160 V4 is similarly powered and generates 16.5 PS Carburetor fuel system and 16.8 PS for the fuel injection system. Which is more upmarket and loaded with latest tech.

The Apache RTR 180 Race Edition remains rest unchanged and is just a graphical update. The Apache RTR 180 Race Edition is priced @ 83,233.00 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). Well, surprisingly the Apache RTR 160 4V with disc brakes comes with just an extra cost of Rs. 1,275 priced @ 84,490 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi)

Clearly, at this price point Apache RTR 160 4V is better buy over the Apache RTR 180 Race Edition. Although, the Apache 180 still has potent buyers out there as higher displacements numbers are always a pride numbers in Indian market and thus TVS has kept the Apache 180 for those buyers.
