The chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra owns mostly Mahindra luxury cars and he has also added the all-new Alturas G4 in his cars collection. He always shares pictures of his personal car collection on Twitter. Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd also own a TUV300 Plus which he calls the ‘Grey Ghost’. For naming his personal TUV300 Plus, he asked Twitteratis for suggestions.

Once again, Anand Mahindra tweeted and asked for suggestions so that he can name his all-new “beautiful beast”. He also said that he will give 2 Mahindra die-cast scale models to the person who submits the preferred title. Isn’t it awesome! Anyone can suggest names for his new Alturas G4. The Twitterati’s have suggested great creative names, but the tycoon will select the most exceptional one that can be announced soon.
Earlier, business tycoon has parked a super-modified Mahindra TUV300 sub-4-meter compact SUV in his garage. The vehicle is a highlight of his car collections. The customized TUV300 is modified with Armour Body package which makes it more luxurious and fascinating. The kit includes front and rear stone guard, front bumper extension, side body cladding, hood scoop, and roof-mounted auxiliary lights.
Mahindra Alturas G4 was recently launched and is known to be the most luxurious SUV in the world. The bold vehicle is inspired by SsangYong G4 Rexton which was showcased at Auto Expo 2018. It comes with a new bold appearance with a new grille highlighting vertical chrome slats and Mahindra badge. It is equipped with HID headlamps combined LED DRL’s. Some other extraordinary features of the G4 are 18-inch alloy wheels, turn signal lights, and bigger roof rails.
At the rear, the vehicle is outfitted with wraparound LED taillamps and a roof-mounted spoiler along with brake lights. It is developed with a feature-packed cabin with many amazing innovations including Nappa leather interior, leather decorated door trims and dash, and a sunroof. The dash is integrated with a 7-inch fully-digital instrument cluster, an 8-way power adjustable driver seat, 3-zone climate control, and electronic parking brakes. It also consists of an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
In terms of security highlights, the Alturas features 9 airbags, ABS + EBD, Electronic stability programme, ARP, HDC, HAS, BAS, and ESS. It runs on a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, BS-6 ready diesel powertrain which generates 178 bhp at 4000 rpm, and 420 Nm peak torque between 1600-2600 rpm. The engine is combined with a 7-speed automatic torque converter. Mahindra Alturas G4 will rival the likes of the Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, Isuzu MU-X, Skoda Kodiaq and even the new 2018 Honda CR-V.
