The most affordable Royal Enfield models are here. Essential the same as a regular Bullet 350 save for a few features, the new motorcycles costs Rs 9,000 less than the standard models. Bookings are now open across all RE dealerships in the country. So what is different? Here’s everything you need to know:
Right of the bat, the new Bullet 350 gets three new color schemes – Bullet Silver, Sapphire Blue, and Onyx Black. The Bullet 350 ES will be available in Jet Black, Regal Red, Royal Blue color options. The majority of the differences are in the form of different color schemes. The new 350 ES also get blacked-out engine blocks instead of the chrome finish on the standard models. The new 350, on the other hand, gets some silver finish on the top of the engine.
Another big change on the new 350 is with respect to the RE emblem on the tank. Instead of a 3D logo, the new models instead gets flat decals for logos. However, it seems to remain standard on the new 350 ES. The spoked rims on the new motorcycles also get black treatment. Other than that, the rest of the motorcycle is identical to the standard models. It also gets single channel ABS on offer.
Powering the new REs is the same 346cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This engine can produce 19.8hp and 28Nm of torque. This is paired with the same 5-speed manual transmission as seen on the standard models.
The new pricepoint will allow the RE Bullet to compete against a wider variety of motorcycles. We can now see the Avenger 220 and the Suzuki Intruder as the main rivals going by the same type of motorcycles in the same price bracket.
