TVS Motors teased the all-new 2020 TVS Ntorq on social media platforms yesterday. The 125cc scooter has been popular among the customers for its sporty looks. TVS updates the scooter with cosmetic details. However, the internal specifications may remain the same.
The most evident change from the new teaser is the newly updated headlamp units. The 2020 refresh of the TVS Ntorq brings LED headlamps along with LED DRL units too. This is an essential update over the outgoing model’s halogen unit to improve visibility in the dark. TVS is also adding two air vents above the headlamp unit to add to the sportiness of the scooter. However, it is not sure if this is just cosmetics or if they function.
One can also expect updates to the instrument console on the Ntorq which was one of the first in the market to bring smartphone connectivity to scooters. It gets SmartXonnect Bluetooth pairing that enables app connection, GPS, caller ID, etc. We can also expect a hike in the price of the scooter with all the updates in place.
The current Ntorq scooter runs on a 124.7 cc single-cylinder air-cooled carburetted engine. This motor produces 9.4 PS power and also 10.5 Nm torque. The power output may remain the same but there is a strong possibility of the updated model to receive a BS6 engine.
