Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India Limited took down the Honda Grazia from its official website without an explanation. Now a new teaser shows the brand new 2020 Honda Grazia BS6 version to replace the older model. The new Grazia comes with a host of changes in both the visual and functional departments.
The 2020 Honda Grazia is a 125cc scooter that enjoys slightly higher features in comparison to the Honda Activa. The 2020 version follows this with the teaser showing the new features of the scooter. Right off the bat, we can see the new LED headlight setup which also includes LED DRLs on the handlebar cowl. The fully digital split instrument cluster gets a new blue backlight. This instrument cluster shows all the important information like speed, trip meter, fuel-efficiency, distance to empty, time, service reminder, etc.
Other changes on the 2020 Honda Grazia include disc brakes with Honda’s combi-braking system (CBS), side stand alert, and a silent start system (ACG starter). Honda is also bringing a new gold color option to the scooter. The engine on the new Grazia will likely be the same as the BS6 Honda Activa 125. This 125cc fuel-injected motor produces 8 bhp and also 10 Nm of peak torque.
Honda has not revealed a launch date but we can expect to make its way very soon. Other details like the exact price will be revealed along with the product launch later. But we can expect the new Grazia to get a slight price hike over the outgoing BS4 version and cost over Rs. 65,000.
