New images from China show a completely updated 2020 Benelli TNT 600i completely undisguised. The new bike will return with an updated engine to comply with Euro 6 and also BS6 regulations.
The Benelli TNT 600i is a middleweight naked sports bike from the company. It first came to India back in 2015 and has seen good success. The performance it offers at its price point has always attracted customers. But the bike has been due for a long over due update.
The images show a complete overhaul to the design. It now features a sharper design with new tank cowls. It will also get a new head lamp unit which is expected to house LEDs. It also gets a single seat now instead of the split seat on its predecessor. The iconic twin under seat exhausts also appear to be missing. This indicates that Benelli is probably using a more conventional exhaust system on the new TNT 600i.
One of the biggest changes on the 2020 Benelli TNT 600i is the new fully digital instrument console. Rest of the components including the frame and the swingarm is similar to the outgoing model.
The engine is also similar to the older model. But it will comply with Euro 6 and BS6 regulations. The current TNT 600i features a 600cc inline four cylinder engine. This engine produces 85 hp and 55 Nm of torque. The 2020 model performance will be close to this if not the same.
