Today TVS has launched the updated version of the Apache RR 310. The major upgrade in the bike is Race Tuned (RT) Slipper Clutch. The bike also gets minor upgrades and a new colour scheme.
The slipper clutch is a welcoming addition to Apache RR 310 as all its competitors in the range get it. It helps to prevent wheel lockup under high speeds downshift. The clutch also comes with an Assist Function which increases the clutch engagement force reducing the clutch effort. Good news for the existing customers as it can be retrofitted to their motorcycles at selected TVS Apache RR 310 dealerships.
TVS is also offering a new colour “Phantom Black”. This black is slightly different from the Matte Black currently on offer. The Phantom Black colour with a white and red stripe running through the middle. RR 310 comes quite feature loaded with Bi-LED Twin Projector Head Lamps, Vertical digital speedometer and super sports inspired design.

TVS Apache RR 310 is powered by BMW sourced reverse-inclined engine, liquid cooled 312.2 cc engine making 34PS of power at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm of max torque at 7,700 rpm. The engine is combined with a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. Mahender Singh Dhoni became the first owner of the 2019 TVS Apache RR 310.
TVS has priced the bike at Rs 2.27 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). That is Rs 3,000 more than the current bike, which is not much according to the upgrades offered. TVS Apache RR 310 competes with KTM RC 390, Yamaha R3 and Benelli 302R.
