2019 Suzuki Jimny: Maruti Suzuki has shocked with all their modified variants this year. It seems that the company has many other surprises left for all its fans. The automotive manufacturer is currently working on the production of its off-road segment, Suzuki Jimny which is expected to be officially uncovered by next year. According to a recent report, the next version of the Jimny will be more powerful and compelling compared to the previous version. Reports also claim a spied picture of the model in which we can see the full uncovered image of it.
With the increasing technological advancements, all auto-giants has improved their off-road variant by adding many interesting and latest features. So, Maruti Suzuki also decided to launch a completely renewed version of its older off-road segment. However, the vehicle received a good response in the auto-market, after the launch, but after that many other companies entered with more mesmerizing segments which frequently decreased the sale of older Jimny.
The all-new Jimny will highlight the company’s high-performance efficiency and a power-packed cabin with advanced features. The signature off-road vehicle has a squared layout and box-like shape. In terms of appearance, the 2019 variant is a small concept of the G-Class which comes with a charming presence. The vehicle will be outfitted with circular headlamps and extended upright slats. It is observed in a completely squared-out window and trapezoidal wheel curves and horizontal roof.
The next-gen Jimny will come with robust frame construction compared to the previous variant. The company has not officially announced any details regarding the interior modifications. Although some report states the features and specs of the vehicle which may be featured in the upcoming concept. The cabin will sport more connectivity options including twin-pod instrument cluster, a standard steering wheel, circular climate control knobs and boxy center air vents. The front interior will be outfitted with the latest 7-inches touchscreen infotainment system, leather cushioning and lower center console switchgear. The company will also upgrade some safety features in the upcoming Jimny with ABS, airbags and an all-wheel-drive system.
The upcoming vehicle will be produced in two petrol motor options: 1.2-litre K-Series and a 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine which will deliver max power of 92 bhp and 112 bhp, respectively. The modified next off-roadster by Maruti Suzuki will be launched in 2019. After the launch, it will lock horns against the likes of the Vitara Brezza which is also a well-known SUV. It will be exciting to see the modified version of the Jimny in the market after many years of launch.
