2019 Renault Duster Details Revealed, Launch On July 8, 2019

The new Renault Duster is scheduled to be launched in India on 8th July, 2019. The new Duster had been spied earlier without camouflage. The 2019 Renault Duster is based on the same BO platform, which is same as its outgoing sibling. The mid spec facelifted Renault Duster is likely to carry the same price tag as its outgoing counterpart in the range of Rs 8 lakhs -13 lakhs. The all-wheel drive option offered on the top spec RxZ variant is likely to be offered onto the lower-spec RxS variant.

On the exterior, the car sports a new front grille with chrome surrounds, modified projector headlamps, LED DRLs, a new sculpted bonnet, skid plates at the front and back and a revised front bumper together with new roof rails. The new Renault Duster sits on new redesigned 17 inches alloy wheels.

The interior of 2019 Renault Duster is now made more spacious and get better fit and finish on a dual tone black and dark brown colour scheme along with rectangular AC vents on the centre console. The steering wheel is inspired from new Triber MPV and done in faux brushed aluminum. The infotainment system on the car is now compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with connected car features with USB and AUX connectivity. The dashboard on the new Renault Duster is now more premium with extensive use of faux aluminum along with some chrome accents and piano black elements. In terms of safety, the new Renault Duster comes equipped with dual front airbags, parking sensors and a speed warning system.

The 2019 Renault Duster remains unchanged in terms of mechanics. Powering the facelifted model are a 1.5 liter petrol engine and a 1.5 litre diesel motor. The 1.5 liter, 4 cylinder petrol unit churns out a power of 106 PS and produces a peak torque of 142 Nm. A 5 speed MT and CVT transmission comes coupled to the motor. On the other hand the 1.5 liter diesel engine delivers a power of 110 PS and produces a peak torque of 248 Nm. Both 6 speed MT and AMT gearbox comes mated to the motor. The new Renault Duster will compete on the likes of the upcoming Kia Seltos, which is scheduled to launch in the country later this year.
