2019 Maserati Quattroporte makes its way to India

Maserati has launched the 2019 Maserati Quattroporte in India. Maserati is an Italian luxury carmaker best known for its authentic Italian design. The 2019 Quattroporte has both the elegance and the attitude of its predecessors. But it also gets new colors, wheel designs and interior veneers, redesigned gearshift lever and Pieno Fiore natural leather interiors.

2019 Maserati Quattroporte design and features

Maserati is offering the car in two models – in GranLusso and GranSport. The car is now also available in 10 different shades to choose from. This also includes two new tri-coat colors – Rosso Potente and the deep dark Blu Nobile. The front gets an Alfieri-shaped three-dimensional grille. Maserati also has two new alloy designs in addition to the already wide 20-22 inch alloy collection.

The interiors feature full-grain Pieno Fiore leather for the first time ever in a car. This material has a natural and soft feel and is incomparable to any other material in the automotive industry. Pieno Fiore is available as an option in Quattroporte in three colors. It also gets in specific stitching on the seats and double stitching on the door panels. Maserati also offers two brand new high-gloss interior veneers for the Quattroporte. It also has an MTC+ infotainment system with updated display graphics and improved climate control system ergonomics.

Engine and performance

The 2019 Maserati Quattroporte comes with a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine which comes with AdBlue technology. This unit performs well, is efficient and also provides driving satisfaction. The Active Sound technology produces a characteristic Maserati sound that underlines the car’s performance-ready nature, and which can be varied at the touch of a button.

Maserati is also using the newly redesigned gear shifter in the new car. It now has a more intuitive shift pattern, shorter travel, and improved operation. The new Quattroporte now gets an eight-speed ZF gearbox in automatic or manual mode.
