What’s better than a screaming V10 with more than half a thousand bhp channelling to all four wheels! More bhp! The chase for power never stops and Lamborghini is just offering that with the 2019 update of the Huracán Evo with a host of other updates.
First look at it and you’ll know the Huracán means serious business. The Huracán looks more angry and aerodynamic than before. Talking about aero it has new front splitter and colour contrast diffuser. The rear gets an integrated rear wing that gives the rear end more character and yes that much of extra downforce! The Huracán gets new wheels, better side intakes, and relocated exhaust all in the favour of aerodynamics. So much so that Lamborghini claims that it has improved downforce and aerodynamic efficiency of 5 times over the first generation Huracán.
Let’s come to the heart of the beast. A 5.2-litre Naturally Aspirated, raw V10, making 631bhp and revving its guts out to 8,300 rpm, with 443lb ft of torque via a seven-speed twin-clutch gearbox. Numerical figures are textbook supercar standards, hits a ton in 2.9 sec, 9 seconds to 200kmph.
Coming to the inside, not much has changed. But you do get an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay which is kind of submerged into the centre tunnel. An onboard computer named Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata, which controls a lot of the cool stuff like, Four wheel steering, torque charts and stability control. It also monitors your lateral, longitudinal and vertical accelerations, roll, pitch and yaw rate.
