The 2019 KTM Duke 125 has received a price hike of Rs 6,835. Therefore, currently the Duke 125 has been priced at Rs 1.24 lakhs [ex showroom – Delhi]. The bike was launched last year with an introductory price of Rs 1.18 lakhs. The bike now bears an expensive price tag, which is worth its features including the best in class suspension, tyres, chassis, equipment, design and performance. Besides that the baby KTM comes with redesigned graphics. The Australian bikemaker has revised the graphics in order to impart a distinct look the India based Duke 125, which looks quite similar to the KTM Duke 200.
The KTM Duke 125 is the one of the best selling bikes in our country in the brand’s line up. The manageable performance offered by the 2019 KTM Duke 125 has made it popular among the Indian buyers. The KTM Duke 125 is mainly appropriate for the new rides. The Duke 125 is currently the most powerful and premium 125 cc motorcycles on sale in the country. Despite being a 125 cc motorcycle with a price tag over Rs 1 lakh, the sales figure was recorded to be 7,287 units.
Powering the 2019 KTM Duke 125 is a single cylinder, liquid cooled 124.7 cc DOHC engine. The engine is tuned to produce a maximum power of 14.5 PS at 9,250 rpm and produces a peak torque of 12 Nm at 8,000 rpm. A six speed transmission comes coupled to the engine. The suspension duties on the KTM Duke 125 are handles by the upside down forks paired with trellis frame at the front and a monoshock absorber at the rear. The braking duties on the bike are handled by the 300 mm disc brake up front and a 240 mm disc brake at the rear. The single channel anti-lock braking system [ABS] feature is offered as standard on the bike. In terms of pricing, the KTM Duke 125 competes on the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V [priced at Rs 1.11 lakh], the Pulsar 200NS [carrying a price tag of Rs 1.12 lakhs] and the recently launched Yamaha MT 15, which is priced at Rs 1.36 lakhs.
