Bajaj Auto has revealed the teaser of its next-generation street naked bike, KTM 790 Duke. The teaser has grabbed all the attention of the street bike fans. So, get ready for the launch of the updated version of this amazing bike which is expected in the coming weeks. However, the teaser video hasn’t revealed all about the bike, but we already have all the information, as the bike is already available in the international market.

Previous reports have affirmed that the Indian market will soon get the next KTM model, KTM 390 Adventure. Now, we know that the company is all set to reveal two models in the country. The KTM 390 Adventure is expected to be revealed at the end of 2019. The KTM 790 Duke will be brought via CKD route in the country. The reports have also claimed that the company has already imported 100 units of the upcoming bike in Akurdi facility for production purpose. Some components of the bike like headlamp and levers will be developed by local producers.

The street motorcycle remains with the sporty and bold appearance similar to the other range. It will be powered by a 799cc LC8 liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine which will make 104 PS of power and 87 Nm of torque. The engine will be combined with a 6-speed gearbox featuring quick-shifter for clutch-less gear shifts. The suspension duties are handled by a 43 mm WP upside-down forks at the front and a WP monoshock at the rear.

In terms of braking, the bike will be equipped with dual 300-mm disc setup in the front and a 240-mm disc in the rear. It will be introduced with the ABS system as standard highlighting three riding modes (supermoto mode). For a smooth riding experience, the company has used dual overhead cams and dual balancer shafts. The engine will offer high performance and fuel efficiency compared to the previous version. It will rival against the Kawasaki Z900, Ducati Monster 797 and the Triumph Street Triple.
