Jaguar Land Rover has officially unwrapped a petrol variant of the Jaguar F-Pace in India. The Jaguar F-Pace is a well-known model of the company which is an extreme head turner on road. The petrol version is announced as a Prestige version which will draw power from a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged Ingenium petrol unit combined with an 8-Speed Automatic transmission. The engine is now capable of generating 247bhp of peak power and 369Nm of torque which is more than enough. It will come at a premium price tag of 63.17 lakhs.
The overall look of the vehicle remains the same, although it has received some remarkable features inside the cabin. The features include Park Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Cabin air ionisation, driver condition monitor, 360-degree parking sensors, adaptive LED headlights, a Wi-Fi hotspot and pro services. The dash is integrated with an all-new 10.2-inch touchscreen. The all-new variant has also received premium elements like illuminated metal treadplates, chrome switches for the 10-way seats, suede cloth headliner and polished metal pedals.
Commenting on the launch, Rohit Suri, President and Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd (JLRIL), stated, “In the two years since its launch in India, the Jaguar F-PACE has captivated the imagination of Jaguar fans and our discerning customers. With the launch of the locally manufactured Ingenium petrol derivative of the F-PACE, the appeal of our first Jaguar SUV is further enhanced.”
The high-performance SUV, F-PACE SUV has got a striking front chassis with flanged hood and bold rear. It comes with aerodynamically improved features like an all-new front bumper and broader spoiler hood vents. The company has also enhanced the engine performance for high-efficiency. It is equipped with 405 kW engine and claims 0-100 km/h at just 4.3 s. It sits on a 48.6 cm (19) alloy wheels.
Moreover, the F-Pace Prestige comes with chrome window surrounds and chrome side power vents. The premium cabin is superbly developed with enhanced 10‑way electric front seats highlighting driver memory and contrast stitched grained leather upholstery. The petrol variant F-Pace Prestige is priced ₹ 40,000 less compared to its F-Pace SVR, powered by 2.0-litre diesel unit.
