Honda CBR150R is discontinued from the Indian market, but the Honda fans really miss this model. The CBR150R has been a popular range of the company since 2011. The Japanese automotive company, Honda has finally launched the most awaited 2019 Honda CBR150R which is also expected to come in the Indian market next year.

In Indonesia, the sporty bike is introduced with an updated design and few cosmetic tweaks. It is revealed in many attractive colours: Matte Black, Victory Black Red, Honda Racing Red, and MotoGP Edition. However, the mechanical specs remain unchanged. It has got a bigger windscreen which offers a sportier appearance.

The bike is seen with an all-digital colour display that is all-new for the 150cc bike range. The overall appearance of the bike is not modified and we can still notice the traditional coupled front LED headlight with LED blinkers and the front fender which is now equipped with an ABS sticker. Although, the new modifications are enough as it is already a famous model in the Indian market.

The bike gets a new ESS(Emergency Stop Signal) system feature that switches on the hazard lights in tough braking. It is developed with a husky fuel tank with energetic front detailing. From the side, we can notice a twin-shaded exhaust along with aluminium detailing. The bike is revealed in the dual colour shade with black as standard. Like the previous model, it also gets a split step-up saddle just following the fuel tank.

In terms of suspension, it features front conventional telescopic forks and a rear mono-shock. The new CBR150R also comes with 5-level settings for the front as well as rear suspension. It is powered by the same 150cc, DOHC, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine which generates 17.1 PS of max power at 9,000 rpm and 14.4 Nm torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine combined with a six-speed gearbox transmission.

Improving the safety level, Honda will launch the bike in India with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as standard which will be mandatory by 2019 as per new government rules for all 125cc and above displacement. After the launch, it will rival against the likes of Yamaha R15 V3 in India. The prices for the 2019 CBR150R starts from INR 1.63 lakh and reaches INR 1.87 lakh for top specs variant. All prices are ex-showroom.
