Interior and Features

On the interior, we can see the layout similar to other cars from Ford. It looks decent and ergonomic. On the center is a touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay support. The lower spec models are expected to get a touch screen infotainment system sans smartphone connectivity. The only gripe on the interior would be the tad boring and plain instrument cluster.

Ford has also tried to tick many boxes in the features department. It gets a keyless entry with push-button start, Bluetooth connectivity and navigation, automatic headlamps and also rain sensing wipers. Ford is also offering ABS, rear parking sensors, seat-belt reminders and a speed-alert system to meet the safety norms.

Engine and Performance

Other bigger changes are in terms of the engine, it gets 3 engine options. The 2019 Ford Figo gets a 1.2-liter dragon series 3-cylinder engine and also a 1.5-liter turbo. Both the engines are petrol and a CNG variant may make its way in the coming days. Coming to the performance, the 1.2-liter unit pushes out 90hp and 120Nm torque. The 1.5-liter unit, on the other hand, produces 121hp and 150Nm torque. Ford is offering the 1.2 with a manual transmission and the 1.5 with an automatic transmission. Also on offer is the older 1.5 diesel paired to a 5-speed manual producing 98hp and 215Nm torque.
