The launch of the new 2019 Bajaj Dominar is just around the corner. While a few days back we informed you that dealers have started taking bookings for the new Dominar.
Today we have an official announcement from Executive Bajaj on their Facebook page about the bookings. The dealer is situated in Malad area in Mumbai.
Bajaj has also revealed advertisement video for the 2019 Dominar which reveals most of its new features. The bike gets an all-new USD fork set up at the front which is similar to the unit from KTM. The exhaust features a new dual barrel type design, which should improve the sound. Tank cowls have been redesigned to give it a more aggressive look.
The golden color flashy alloys had gone out to for a dual tone black and silver color alloys. The rear view mirrors are new. The dual instrument cluster setup is upgraded for good. The display on the tank now finally gets a gear position sensor, odometer as well as time.
Powering the Dominar is a KTM sourced 373cc, single-cylinder engine, which makes more power than before. It churns out 39.9 ps and 35Nm of torque. This is maybe due to Bajaj switching from SOHC to DOHC setup coupled with Bajaj three spark plug technology. The engine is BS-VI compliant. Braking is done by 320 mm disc at the front and 220mm disc at the rear with Dual channel ABS.
2019 Bajaj Dominar is expected to launch next Month. The post from Executive Bajaj confirms that Bajaj is now taking the bookings for the New Dominar.
Bajaj is expected to bump up the price a bit, due to the new features. It is expected to be priced at Rs 1.63 lakhs (ex-showroom). It rival against KTM Duke 250, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Mahindra Mojo UT300 and the newcomer Honda CB300.
