BMW S1000RR: Get ready for the new sportier bike from the famous German motorcycle maker, BMW Motorrad. The company is all set to uncover the brand-new 2019 S1000RR at the 2018 EICMA motorcycle event to be held in Italy or Intermot Show in Cologne, Germany next month. However, before the launch, the patent images have been leaked which clearly defines the modifications to be received by the upcoming sports bikes.

The sports bike has been highly modified in terms of design when compared to the previous three versions (2009-11, 2012-14 and 2015-18 versions). The front fascia of the bike is revised with all new headlamps which offer it a striking appearance. It is now updated with dual projector LED headlamps on both aspects of the central air intake and ditches the asymmetrical headlight assembly. Although we can still notice the asymmetrical fairing configuration with a gill-like pattern on the right side.

The BMW S1000RR will come with a more dynamic front look and the side displays a chunkier and magnetic tail assembly. The latest 2019 look of the S1000RR will highlight a renewed chassis that is presented on the twin-spar aluminum design and trellis rear subframe. Beside the design, the bike will be also combined with an all-new engine that will improve the efficiency and performance compared to the previous version. The engine is built as per the Euro V emission norms of 2021. The existing BMW S1000RR extracts power from a 999c in-line, four-cylinder engine that capable of generating 195.7bhp of power and 113Nm of peak torque. So, we expect the upcoming variant to deliver more than 200 bhp of power.

The next BMW bikes can be officially revealed at the Intermot show or EICMA. The 2019 BMW S1000RR will give a tough competition to the popular sports bike including Ducati Panigale V4, Kawasaki Ninja H2, and the Aprilia RSV4. It could come at a price tag of approx INR 20 lakh.
