2019 Bajaj Pulsar 180F Coming Soon: Priced At Rs 86,500

Bajaj Auto is all set to launch the all-new Pulsar 180F in India. The styling of the brand-new bike is based on Pulsar 220F. The bike has got an amazing sporty look. The new machine looks more attractive compared to other pulsar range. The bike will be available at a price tag of Rs. 86,500, ex-showroom. The new model gets most of the features and design from the existing, Pulsar 220F. It is revealed with Neon shade and new styling theme along with matte black detailing which was introduced with the new Pulsar range.

The upcoming Pulsar 180F will get some impressive cosmetic tweaks to make it distinct from the recently updated Pulsar 150 model. It will come with a new fairing arrangement as the ‘F’ in the name means, ‘Fairing’. From the price front, the Pulsar 180F will be much affordable compared to Pulsar 220F which is available at Rs. 1.05 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi. Although, it will be a bit costlier than the standard naked version in the range. The introduction of Pulsar 180F will not replace the naked versions in the Indian market.

The bike manufacturer has not officially revealed the details of the bike. However, according to the leaked reports, the new model will remain similar to the standard variant in terms of technical specification. It will be powered by the same 180 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled powertrain which is capable of generating 17 Bhp of power and 14 Nm of peak torque. The motor is combined with a 5-speed transmission. It is developed with ABS as a standard feature to satisfy the latest Indian vehicle norms which will come into force from 1st April 2019.

The upcoming Pulsar is inspired by Pulsar 220F so, it will also get similar features like twin vertically-stacked headlights and single-channel ABS. The braking duties can be handled by 260mm disc at the front and a 230mm unit at the back. In terms of suspension, it comes with front telescopic forks and rear dual shock absorbers. The official bookings haven’t started yet, but some Bajaj dealership in Mumbai have already commenced the bookings at an amount of Rs 1,000.
