A new video uploaded on Youtube shows a few updated parts of the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 ABS. It is clear from the video that the motorcycle shown is a camouflaged test mule.
Major updates as seen in the video is a new instrument cluster and exhaust. The updated secondary tank mounted display now gets a gear position indicator, odometer and time. Compared to the earlier version which displayed minimal information, this is a much-needed update. Also, the side stand and engine kill switch indicators are now on the primary display as text.
The exhaust in the 2019 Dominar also sees some major changes. It now features a dual-exhaust muffler. The exhaust note also seems to be different. But it is hard to judge the sound through a video.
We can also see that the Bajaj is testing new USD front forks the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400. It appears to be similar to the setup on its KTM counterpart but with a different state of tune. The rear suspension is the standard mono-shock.
The previous generation Bajaj Dominar 400 runs on a 373cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. It produces 34.5hp and 35Nm of torque. The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 is expected to get some small tweaks to the power figures. But, most of the mechanical aspects of the bike will remain the same.
