Yamaha YZF R15: As we all know, the automobile manufacturer in Yamaha has launched 2018 Yamaha YZF R15 in Indonesia. The bike comes with latest specs, features, and a husky appearance. Now, the two-wheeler manufacturer has decided to innovate its bike. So, now you will get a latest modified variants. The bike model will be available in latest shades designs for the 2018 version. The price will remain unchanged. The Yamaha YZF R15 v3.0 has received a price tag of 2018 variant R15 is IDR 35.2 on-the-road (OTR), Jakarta (approximately INR 1.60 lakh in India).
The bike is running successfully in the Indonesian market. Now, the R15 will be available in three latest exciting shades designs, yellow, black/blue and black. The latest color variants further equipped with innovative decals and the black/blue shade combination as well as blue alloys. Whereas the additional two shades come with polished piping on the wheel rims. Moreover, the uppermost section of the forks is finished in gold which adds a superior aspect. The front fork and link-like back monoshock halt the Deltabox trim. It features front and back 100-section front and 140-section rear rubber 17-inch alloy wheels. It has twin disc brakes including the front leveling 282 mm.
Now about the technical specs. The R15 continues to be powered by a 155 cc single-cylinder engine which is capable of producing 19 bhp of peak power at 10,000 rpm and peak torque of 15 Nm at 8,500 rpm which is combined with a 6-speed gearbox assist and slipper clutch. The slipper clutch comes as standard on the bike available only in Indonesia and also for India variant. The bike is equipped with LED headlamp and tail light. It is outfitted with an all-digital instrumentation which includes a multifunctional digital system along with a programmable shift light. The switchgear comprises hazard lamp feature according to the current Indonesian norms.
The R15 Movistar range is also available for the Indonesian market with the same design. However, the features and specs differ in the Indian and Indonesian models. This could be because of the vehicle rules in different countries. The Indian variant of the bike highlights on the upside down forks and grippier IRC tires, receiving standard telescopic forks and MRF tires, as per the mentioned price. The Indian model of R15 is available at INR 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Yamaha R15 V3.0 lock horns against the likes of Bajaj Pulsar RS 200.
