Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has launched the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift in the auto markets of India with ex-showroom [Delhi] prices starting from Rs 8.19 lakh and going up to Rs 10.97 lakh. Most importantly the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift comes powered to a 1.5 litre petrol engine with smart hybrid technology. Besides that 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift comes loaded with more features, modified styling and updated interiors. The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift is the first upgrade of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz launched back in 2014.
2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift is available in seven colour options – Pearl midnight Black, Nexa Blue, Pearl metallic dignity brown, metallic premium silver, pearl snow white, pearl sangria red and metallic magma grey. Maruti Suzuki India provides three wheel options to the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift – 15 inch precision cut alloy, 15 inch steel and 15 inch silver alloy wheels with full wheel caps. The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz petrol variant is priced starting from Rs 8.19 lakh extending upto Rs 10.97 lakh while the diesel engine variant is priced staring from Rs 9.19 lakh extending up to Rs 10.97 lakh. All the fore mentioned prices are ex-showroom prices.
The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift is offered in four variants – Alpha, Delta, Sigma and Zeta. The 2018 Maruti Ciaz comes with new fog headlamps, revised central air drum, a new set of bumpers, revised front grille and a new headlamp assembly. This four – wheeler features a new front end design with a more stooped stance. The top of the line variant of the 2018 Ciaz are provided with chromo door handles. The exterior updates include the multiple alloy wheel design and rear windshield spoiler as well.
The interior of the new Ciaz get a birch blonde finish. 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz comes equipped with two digital screens – one on the dashboard and other on the instrument control. The 7 inch driver information screen is installed with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay connectivity and in built navigation system. The other interior features include rear sun shades and rear seat entertainment with a DVD playback options. Cruise control, hill hold assist, seat belt reminder, electronic stability program and speed alert system are offered as standard safety features.
The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is powered to the new 1.5 litre K series petrol engine with mild hybrid technology, which delivers a power of 104 bhp and produces a peak torque of 130 Nm. The 1.3 litre diesel engine also comes with mild hybrid technology churns out a power of 91 PS and produces 200Nm torque. 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz takes on the likes of the Toyota Yaris, Honda city and Hyundai Verna.
