The most affordable offering from KTM – the 125 Duke has been launched in India. The India based 2018 KTM 125 Duke shares its underpinnings with the KTM Duke 200. The new bike borrows styling, features and cycle parts from the KTM Duke 200. The bike comes with redesigned graphics. The 2018 KTM 125 Duke has been priced at Rs 1,18,163 [ex – showroom, Delhi]. The new KTM 125 Duke is currently the most powerful and premium motorcycle in 125 cc segment. Moreover, the 2018 KTM Duke 125 is the first ever 125 cc motorcycles in the country to come equipped with ABS. KTM has offered the 125 Duke with a single channel ABS.
The 2018 KTM 125 Duke is powered by a 124.7 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC motor which churns out a power of 14.5 hp at 9,250 rpm and 12 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. A 6-speed transmission, albeit with no slipper clutch comes paired to the engine alike to the 200 cc sibling. The new KTM Duke 125 borrows its cycle parts from the KTM Duke 200, which includes a trellis frame, 43mm USD fork and an adjustable monoshock offered as standard. Braking duties are handled by a 300 mm single-disc brake at the front and a 230 mm unit at the rear. The 2018 KTM 125 Duke has a seat height of 818 mm and the kerb weight of the bike stands at 148 kg.

KTM says that the motorcycle will be available from today across all 450 KTM showrooms in India. The bookings for the KTM 125 Duke had already begun about a month ago. In terms of pricing, the 2018 KTM 125 Duke rivals on the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V ABS [priced at Rs 1.27 lakh], the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 [priced at Rs 1.11 lakh] and the Yamaha R15 V3.0 [priced at Rs 1.27 lakh]. All the fore mentioned prices are ex – showroom, Delhi prices.
