The Honda has launched the new 2018 Honda Jazz on Thursday 19th July. The new 2018 Honda Jazz is available in two petrol variants[ V and VX ] and three diesel variants [ S, V and VX ]. The ex showroom [Delhi] price of the V variant is Rs 7.35 lakhs. However the base S diesel variant is priced at Rs 8.05 lakh.

The new model of premium hatchback gets a host of cosmetic updates and new interior along with safety features. It has got an update in colour too. It is available with two colour options – Carnelian Red Pearl and Alabaster Silver metallic.

The new 2018 Honda Jazz is loaded with a number of features like dual front airbags, steering mounted control, front central arm rest, audio system with 4 speakers, speed sensing door locks, rear parking sensors, rear defogger, electrically adjustable wing mirrors and LED tail lamps. Most importantly it gets equipped with ABS and EBD. Besides that it is provided with a 7 inches infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The new 2018 Honda Jazz comes equipped with cruise control, automatic climate control, push start button, Honda smart key system, reverse camera display, audio system with 5.0 inch touch screen, electrically adjusted folding wing mirror, front fog lamps and rear wiper. It gets leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knobs.

Speaking on the introduction of the Jazz 2018, Mr. Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President and Director, Sales and Marketing, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “In the line with changing customer preferences in favour of automatics, the Jazz 2018 is now being offered with the advanced CVT technology across the petrol range to crater larger number of customers opting for automatic transmission cars for an absolutely comfortable and engaging drive.”

The 2018 Honda Jazz continues to extract power from the same 1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engines. The i-Vtec petrol engine churns out a power of 1.5 litre and develops a peak torque of 110 Nm. A five speed manual or a six speed CVT gearbox is matted to it. The diesel engine produces a power of 99 bhp and develops a peak torque of 200 Nm. A six speed manual gearbox is paired to it. Cruise control is offered on both the petrol CVT and diesel variants.
