The Aprilia fans were excitedly waiting for an updated version of the mid-range famous scooter, Aprilia SR 150. Although the wait is over, finally, the company has released the modified version of the overwhelming scooter. The new variant of the scooter will be available at an affordable price range from just INR 70,031 (ex-showroom Delhi). The company has revealed three variants which include a new facelift, carbon edition and race edition vehicles. The race variant has received a price tag of Rs. 80,211 (ex-showroom).
After the launch, Aprilia SR150 got a great response from the customers. It was also known as one of the great speed scooter available in the India automotive market. In the latest modifications, the Italian company has given many new features as well as latest design to the scooter. The scooter now looks a bit different from the previous version. The all-new SR150 Race edition has received a new RS-GP shade, adjustable suspension, gold-shade caliper, high windscreen, smartphone link, and a race theme helmet as well.
In terms of appearance, the new carbon edition has received a carbon-fiber exterior theme which looks real and cool. Although, the company has revealed the carbon variant as the limited edition. Earlier, the SR150 was available in just two shades, but now it comes in new four classy shades including Matt Black, Blue, Gloss Red, and White. The SR150 Carbon edition is developed with carbon fiber pattern stickers and a black exterior. Moreover, it has got a brand new split headlamp and a 220mm front disc brake. It features 14-inches alloy wheels, a 6.5-litres fuel tank capacity, and 165 mm ground clearance.
The fashionable Aprilia SR150 is equipped with an all-digital instrument cluster which allows monitoring fuel level, odometer and trip meter, but the analog speedometer remains the same. The scooter features an innovated phone connectivity, “Aprilia connect” app that allows the rider to enjoy navigation, distress button and vehicle tracking which also supports iOS and Android. The scooter is powered by a 154cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine generating 10.06 HP power and 11.4 Nm of torque. It comes with a front 220 mm disc and a rear 140 mm. The new scooter rival against Suzuki Burgman Street, TVS NTorq 125, and the Vespa SXL 150.
